Companies expect the best design and high quality print when presenting their products and services. It is also important when the directors and shareholders view the financial figures, so Colourplan has to deliver its services in the quickest time.
High quality print in minimal time is further challenged by the new demand for low quantities. In this NHS report the text was printed using our digital press’s capability of printing onto uncoated material, but due to the landscape format the cover had to be printed litho. Colourplan takes valuable time to ensure colour match between the two processes and still meet that AGM.
This brochure was revised and updated, using four-colour black and gold-foil blocking to attract the attention of Sheerline’s customers. The images of the boats were lifted by printing the text pages on Heaven42, a super-brilliant white coated stock, and delivery was just in time to sit alongside their glistening boats at the London Show at Excel.
Auction catalogues are time-sensitive productions, with late entrees pushing London Coins quarterly publication into five working days, including artwork. Colourplan’s finishing line stitches up to 120pp up to A4 portrait at up to 4,000 copies per hour.
To promote the use of global languages in the NHS, the cover of this perfect bound Annual Report depicted tabbed images down the right side. It was a simple design using folded concertina flaps on the front cover, but production was always going to be difficult as the finished trim was through different thicknesses of the book. They were finished almost individually and the client contacted Colourplan to congratulate us for producing something very different to a conventional brochure.
